Hey again, We had a great time cleaning up Titlow Park in Tacoma, Washington yesterday, collecting 29lbs of litter! It was a very sunny and warm day, we really enjoyed getting out in the sun and cleaning up this area. Titlow seems to be pretty severely littered every time we visit. The amount of littered trash in the area seemed to be the same as when we had our very FIRST cleaning party there back in June this year. We cleaned up many containers stuffed in the rocks and bushes. There was an ALARMING amount of animal droppings just left along the side of the concrete path running parallel with the railroad tracks, Gross! Cigarette butts, cigarette butts, and more cigarette butts, EVERYWHERE. We had some great help cleaning though, thank you Alex and Yanina who came from Seattle to help us clean and enjoy the day.
