Director Blaine Valadez

Blaine Valadez is a Tacoma native committed to action in the battle against litter in our community. He's a father to Aurora and a boyfriend to Megan. He feels a strong sense of pride in this environmentally unique and beautiful location we all call home. Over time while visiting beaches and parks in the Pierce County area together, Megan Kebschull and Blaine Valadez noticed a growing amount of litter. From this, the idea of Clean Beach Group came to be. We are eager to learn more about how litter negatively affects everyone, and more so to get outside and clean that litter up. With the support of his cousin Denise Isaacson and her children we've collected 93lbs of litter in only two events. We'd love your help at our next clean up event!

President Megan Kebschull & Princess Aurora Valadez

Megan Kebschull was born in Alaska but raised in Washington. A Piece County resident for over 10 years. Megan loves animals, and won't eat a crab because they're just too cute. Don't let her elegant look fool you, Megan isn't afraid to get down and dirty cleaning litter off a beach near you. She is passionate about marine life, and really cares about our ocean. You can find her beside Director Blaine Valadez or holding Princess Aurora. Aurora is our child, her job for clean beach group is making great smiles in all our photos. Together we've dedicated our free time to organizing our friends, family members, and volunteers (soon friends too) each month to clean up our neighborhood.
